Faith & Lola // Princess Polly

I recently was commissioned by the lovely folk at Faith & Lola to put my illustration skills to work on their new clothing range release.

Princess Polly has an 'Unlocked' campaign currently running, and I was to design something that reflected the theme.

The images were uploaded to the Princess Polly Banner last night, and they look rather swell.

Commissions Lately...

Here are a few lovely portraits I have whipped up recently.
There are a few I can't reveal yet, (nothing worse then discovering your birthday present has been published online before you have received it)

Hungry Designs

Merry Christmas to you all!

I think I only got so far with my Christmas giveaway updates and things just got too ha-nay-nay for me to handle time wise to keep updating  (it's the busiest time of year for me - doing oodles of commissions and wrapping up the pretty things to be sent out for people's gifts)

One of my fave commissions was this piece for Amanda, the creative lass behind Hungry Designs.

I met Amanda many moons ago whilst doing a pop up shop at Nook in West End. It is so refreshing to meet like-minded creative people who share the same enthusiasm for crafting / drawing/ making pretty things.

Her mum contacted me asking to illustrate Amanda with her lovely stall, and 4 hours later it was finished. I haven't had so much fun working on a commission in so long - and knowing it would play a major part in Amanda's Christmas made it all the more worth while.

Also - I managed to weasel in a sneaky picture of myself and my better half Kris
just before the 25th. Doing this drawing made me realise how long it had been since I drew any 'Sketch Dumps' which would feature many adventures & conversations between myself and leading characters in my life. I shall add this to the 2013 goals list.

Meanwhile I hope you all had a splendid Christmas and enter the New Year with a bang! x

Francie Pants

New Commission.
It's been a while since I did a commission that I loved every moment of.

This was one of them!

So Frenchie!

lately

I was contacted before Christmas by Josh, one of the creative geniuses behind So Little Time Co, to create a masterpiece for his lovely wife Kirsty. I have been a fan of their work ever since I started blogging, and met the dynamic duo in Sydney last Finders Keepers Markets.

I wanted to incorporate some of the jewelry pieces featured on their online shoppe, or imagine what it would feel like to be 'in Kirsty's creative mind'.

During this time, I also created an original A3 painting for miss Kelly and Trev, the fantastical folk at Made by White HQ. I completely forgot to take photos of it before it was packed up and shipped off, but thankfully Kelly picked up my slack and has a blog of her own!

Kirsty Larkin

Kirsty Larkin is a very lovely songstress who I had the pleasure of working with over the past few weeks.
She has recently commissioned me to do her a cd cover for her latest EP 'Deep End'
The cd cover pleased both of us in the end!

A little lady asked me to put her favorite girl from the Peppermint Mag illustration (and the sticker pack) into An A3 sized print.

Here it is. Hope she likes it!
