pop culture!


I have been in Cairns the past week, my home town, catching up with friends and family, hence why I have been neglecting my blog! BOO!

I couldn't help but notice a lot of the young ladies were sporting trash tee's with  "I heart Justin" and "I heart my Boyfriend" splashed across the front of it. Probably Supre's doing I think. 

I winced and cringed a little at the sight of them, and thought by gosh, if only the kids had cooler people to idolize than the current Pop culture icons. So, I drew pictures whilst watching John Carpenter's "The Thing" featuring the man himself, Kurt. 

Then this drawing came to form!

    I couldn't agree more about the lovely shirts around now "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob" indeed. ;) Very cute pic though.

    omg! I luv this! I want a shirt that says: I <3 Kurt Russell....YUM!!!! This is so cute. Definately what I needed to see as I had a very sad day :(

I'm sick of those I Love Edward t-shirts or pictures of Rob Pat scarily and his vampire death threats. I love your blog and your illustrations! They are an inspiration to me.
